Where we are

The Hotel is located at the foot of the Vesuvius National Park in the center of the Gulf of Naples.

It is only 10km from Naples and only 500m from the Torre del Greco A3 motorway exit.

The following are easily accessible from the hotel: Ischia, Capri, Procida, the archaeological sites of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Oplontis, the Sorrento and Amalfi coasts and the Royal Palace of Caserta

How to get here:

From Naples Central Station (Piazza Garibaldi),

1. By Train (Circumvesuviana / EAV – Ferrovie dello Stato)

From the Napoli Piazza Garibaldi underground station, take the EAV line (formerly Circumvesuviana) toward Torre Annunziata/Oplonti or Poggiomarino, getting off at Torre del Greco; the trip takes about 25 minutes. From the Torre del Greco train station, the Hotel Marad is about a 15-minute walk (uphill), or you can take a taxi or a local bus

OR

From Naples’ main train station at Piazza Garibaldi, take regional trains heading toward Salerno and get off at the Torre del Greco stop; the trip takes about 25 minutes. From the Torre del Greco train station, the Hotel Marad is about a 30-minute walk (uphill), or you can take a taxi or a local bus.

2. By Bus (EAV)

Near Piazza Garibaldi (in the Hotel Terminus area or on Via Galileo Ferraris), you can take the EAV buses (Line 001) that connect Naples to Torre del Greco; the trip takes about 30 minutes. The closest stop is on Via Enrico De Nicola, from which the Hotel Marad is about a 6-minute walk.

3. By Taxi or Car

If you have a car, take the A3 highway from Naples and exit at Torre del Greco Nord, then follow the road signs to Hotel Marad; the trip takes about 20 minutes.

From Naples Airport (Capodichino)

1. By Bus and Train (Combined Option)

Take the Alibus shuttle from the airport to Naples Piazza Garibaldi (Central Station). The trip takes about 15–20 minutes.

From Piazza Garibaldi Station, go down to the lower levels and take the Circumvesuviana (EAV) train bound for Torre Annunziata/Oplonti or Poggiomarino, getting off at Torre del Greco, or take a Trenitalia regional train, also getting off at Torre del Greco (travel time is about 20 minutes). Once you arrive in Torre del Greco, you can reach the Hotel Marad on foot—a 20- to 30-minute uphill walk—or by taking a taxi or the local bus.

Another option is to take the EAV Bus Line 001 toward Scafati once you arrive at Piazza Garibaldi; this will take you to Torre del Greco in about 30 minutes. We recommend getting off at the Via Enrico de Nicola stop, from which the Hotel Marad is about a 6-minute walk.

2. Private Transfer or Rental Car

Upon exiting the airport, take the ring road or head directly onto the A3/E45 highway toward Salerno/Reggio Calabria, then take the exit for Torre del Greco and follow the road signs to the hotel.

From Molo Beverello in Naples

1. Metro + Train or Bus

From Molo Beverello in Naples, you can walk to the Piazza Municipio metro station, take the L1 metro line toward Centro Direzionale, and get off at Piazza Garibaldi.

Once at Piazza Garibaldi, there are several options:

• Take the Circumvesuviana (EAV) train toward Torre Annunziata/Oplonti or Poggiomarino, getting off at Torre del Greco, or take a Trenitalia regional train, also getting off at Torre del Greco (travel time is about 20 minutes). Once you arrive in Torre del Greco, you can reach the Hotel Marad on foot—a 20- to 30-minute uphill walk—or by taking a taxi or the local bus.
